BSS, Cox’s Bazar :
Members of Coast Guard and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 27 persons and seized their vessel as they made attempt to go to Malaysia through sea route.
Members of Coast Guard and BGB conducted raids in Noapara area of Teknaf and Nazirartek area of Cox’s Bazar town yesterday and arrested them from there.
On receipt of secret information members of cost guard conducted raid at Nazirertek area of Cox’s bazar on Sunday morning and arrested 22 persons from a trawler.
Of them 11 were from Narsingdi, 8 from Sylhet and 3 from Cox’s Bazar.
BGB arrested four persons from Teknaf area while they were taking preparation to go to Malaysia through illegal way.
BGB also arrested the agent Liakat Ali who inspired them to go to Malaysia by sea route.
