Twenty six people have been sued in connection with the attack on the motorcade of BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Former public prosecutor (PP) of Chittagong court Enamul filed the case with a speedy tribunal here on Wednesday morning accusing 26 people.
A S M Shahidullah Kaiser, chief judicial magistrate of the court, will hear the case later, said the former PP.
Earlier on Sunday, Fakhrul and some other party senior leaders were injured as local Awami League supporters allegedly attacked his motorcade at Isakhali in Rangunia upazila, Chittagong on their way to hillslides-hit Rangamati.
