Water levels in 26 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 52 stations recorded fall.
Among the 85 monitored water level stations, seven river stations have been registered steady and other two stations registered flowing above danger level, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Monday.
The Kobadak at Jhikarghacha and the Sangu at Dohazari are flowing above their danger levels by 73cm, and 0 cm respectively.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna river systems are in falling trend which may likely to continue in next 96 hours and the Ganges is in rising trend while the Padma river is in falling trend.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the past 24 hours ending at 6 am yesterday.
