At least 26 unreported private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres were shut down in Kishoreganj district in the last two days.
A mobile court in Kishoreganj sadar sealed off five private clinics and diagnostic centers on Sunday evening. for operating business without licence.
Civil Surgeon (CS) in Kishoreganj dr. Saiful Islam who led the drive, confirmed the development.
CS Dr. Saiful told the New Nation that We gave a 72 hour-ultimatum to shutdown illegal, unregistered hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres. We have sealed at least 26 clinics, private hospitals and diagnostic centres so far.we will continue our drives against unreported and convicted health organisations so that they can not reestablishment again.
Kishoreganj Collectorate Magistrate Mahabub Hasan said that, sealed off due to proper documents .
