26 community clinics facing problem in Zakiganj

 Some 26 community clinics in Zakiganj have been facing acute problem. Of them 20 have facing infrastructure problem and the treatment is being seriously hampered.
It is learnt that people face trouble to take treatment. When visited the clinics it is found that many have no electricity. Some have current line but current is not available. The condition of the rooms are unhygienic. Crisis of medicine are acute.
Upazila Health Officer Dr Abdullah AL Mehdi said these community clinics play a vital role for the treatment of villagers. But now they face problem. Villagers receive delivery and malnutrition care in these clinics. Of these clinics some receive a ward for their performance. Upazila health officer visited 8/10 clinics every month. He said elected representative can play role here. In the past kholachara UP Chairman Kabir Ahmed and Barothakuri UP Chairman Mohsin Mortuza Chowdhury give financial aid. So there standard became improved. If other chairman play same role then health sector of villagers will be change rapidly, he said.
