259 Eid jamaats held in Ctg

 Around 259 Eid congregations were held this year at the traditional and temporary venues in the city under the supervision of Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat Committee (CCEJC) and the Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha.
Chittagong district administration, Metropolitan Police , city corporation and other religious organizations organized Eid Jamaats in permanent and temporary venues for peaceful celebration of the festival with due solemnity and religious fervour.
CCEJC organized 93 Eid congregations at different venues in the city Eid congregations under the CCEJC held at 8 am and 8.30 am.
The main Eid congregation was held at MA Aziz stadium at 8 am and Principal of the Baitus Sharaf Madrasa Moulana Saiyed Abu Noman conducted the prayer.
The other main Eid Jamaats held at different venues including Andarkillah Shahi Jame Mosque, Laldighi Maidan, Parade ground, Pologround Maidan, Shah Amanat Shah (R) Dargah Maidan, Port Colony Jam-e-Mosque, Metropolitan Police line Maidan, Agrabad Jamboree field, Baizeed Bostami (R) Dargah maidan at the same time.
Beside the main Eid congration at Jamiatul Falah Mosque ground of CCC , also arranged a total of 166 Eid congregations on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha at its 41 Ward under the supervision of the concerned ward Councilors.
However, the two grand Eid Jammats under the auspices of CCC held at Jamiatul Falah Complex Mosque at 8 am and 8.30 am respectively where the first Jamaat conducted by Khatib of the Mosque Principal Mowlana Mohammad Jalaluddin Al Quadery and the second one led by Mowlana Nur Mohammad Sadeque.
The leaders and activists of all political parties irrespective of opinions and party affiliations offered Eid prayer at same venue of the port city on Tuesday .
 In front row of the main Eid jamaat, Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare Nurul Islam Bsc, former minister and BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah al Noman, City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin, President of South district AL Moslemuddin, former Mayor and BNP Advisor Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin, former Mayor Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, City BNP Presdent Dr.Shahdat Hossain, Vice President Abu Sufian, JP Presidium member Solaiman Alam Seth were present in same venue.
 They exchanged Eid greetings each other sinking all political difference .
