The members of the Bangladesh Ansar & VDP are playing their roles in different areas of the country to combat Covid-19 virus in line with the directions of the government, said a press release sent from the headquarters of the battalion.
Total 2531 members of the force are performing their security duties in 58 important places of the country including Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital, Birdem General Hospital-1 and 2, Mugda General Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital etc, also said the press release.
About 2 thousand quality PPE (personal protective equipment) including mask and hand gloves have been distributed among the battalion members from the headquarters with its own fund, also read the press release.
