Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in a daylong drive on Monday filed 2,505 cases on charges of traffic rule violation.
Traffic division in their simultaneous drives on the city streets also realised over Taka 17.79 lakh as fine, said an official release.
As many as 246 cases were lodged for driving on the wrong sides, 38 other cases for using hydraulic horn, four for using hotter and beckon light and eight others for using tinted glass.
