Chittagong City Corporation in their regular eviction drive in the city evicted atleast 250 floating vendors and temporary structures in the city on Wednesday daylong drive, a CCC sources said.
CCC Executive Magistrate conducted the mobile court.
The eviction drive was launched from Agrabad Bidduyut Bhaban to Badamtali crossing upto Jambori ground in Agrabad Commercial hub of the city. Sources said these unauthorized grown up floating vendors and temporary shop shed on both side of the road have been evicted .
CCC sources said following the frequent clashes over the dominations of these shops by two rival groups of the area, city corporation has decided to evict these shops.
