At least 25 women got sewing machines under LGSP project at Shubolong Union of Borkal Upazila of the district on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner AKM Mamunur Rashid distributed the sewing machine as chief guest.
Among others, Shubolong Upazila Chairman Arun Joti Chakma, Women Chairman of Borkal Upazila Parishad Moni Chakma, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sajia Parvin were also present as special guest.
At that time, school dress, education materials, sport materials, and water tanks were also distributed.
