Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 25 people while they were going to India illegally through Boro Achra border here on Monday night.
Tipped off, a BGB team launched a drive in the frontier area and arrested the 25 people, including 12 women and seven children, said Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer of Jessore BGB-26.
The arrestees hail from different areas of Narail, Bagerhat and Gopalganj districts.
