Chittagong Bureau :District administration authority evicted 25 families from the hillpocket of Lalkhan bazaar motijharna Tankir Pahar area yesterday . The eviction drive launched from 11 am which continued upto 3 pm led by Executive Magistrate Ruhul Amin . The eviction team snapped power and water line in the area. Earlier eviction team of DA evicted 70 families from Motijharna area on Friday and 50 family evicted from Battali hills on Thursday , sources said. The evictees have been rehabilitated in ShahidNagar High school, sources added. District administration sources said there 666 families residing in 11 hill pockets in Chittagong . Mentionable that about 200 hill pocket family members were killed by landslide during last 8 years from 2007, sources said. Meanwhile, City corporastion, CMP and district authority continuously miking to leave the risky hillpockets immediately otherwise drastic actions will be taken sources said.
