Some 25 students of Chittagong University (CU) were injured in a bus accident at Moniapukur Chairman Ghata area of Hathazari in Chattagarram. Of these, 12 were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Others have been given primary treatment at Hathazari Upazila Health Complex. The injured are students from different departments of the university.
The accident took place around 8am on Thursday, said CU Proctor SM Monirul Hasan
According to local sources, losing control, the bus was fallen on hole when it was crossing another bus. At least 25 students were injured in the accident. Of these, 12 were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for better treatment. The rest have been given primary treatment at Hathazari Upazila Health Complex.
