Chittagong District Police, in nightlong drives, arrested 25 activists of BNP-Jammat from different area of Sitakunda, Satkhania and Lohagara upazilas on Thursday night.
On a secret information, Sitakunda Thana Police in nightlong raid from 8 pm to 6 am arrested 10 Jammat-Shibir men from different areas of Sitakunda upazila, Rehena Akter, Sub Inspector of Sitakunda Thana, said.
Mostafizur Rahman, Sub Inspector of Satkhania Thana said police arrested 11 BNP-Jammat activists from different areas of the police station.
Officer-in-Charge of Lohagara Thana Mohammad Shahjahan said, on a tip- off, a team of Lohagara Thana Police arrested four BNP-Jammat activists from different areas of the thana last night.
The arrested were involved with vandalism in different areas under the police stations recently, Rehena Akter added.
