Water levels in 24 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 57 stations recorded fall.
Among the 85 monitored water level stations, water level at one river station is flowing above its danger level and water levels at three monitored river stations have remained steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Wednesday.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna river systems are in rising trend which may likely to continue in the next 48-hour.
On the other hand, the Ganges-Padma and Surma-Kushiyara river systems are likely to fall in next 48-hour.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24-hour ending at 6am yesterday.
A total of 38.5mm rainfall was recorded at Noakhali, 37mm at Sheola, 24mm at Sylhet and 15.2mm at Barguna.
