Police have arrested 24 female activists of Islami Chhatri Sangstha from a flat of capital’s Khilgaon area on Wednesday evening.
Islami Chhatri Sangstha is the female student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.
The arrestees are students of different universities and colleges in Dhaka.
The law enforcers detained the activists from a flat (316/4) of South Goran area when they were
holding a meeting around 8pm, duty officer SI Syed Ali told The New Nation.
He also said police also arrested two male member of Islami Chhatra Shibir during the drive.
