Staff Reporter :The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations 2015 have begun across the country. A total of 23,25,933 (JSC 19, 67,447, JDC358, 486) students appeared at the examinations on Sunday. Out of 19,67,447 JSC examinees, 9,14,900 are boys and 10,52,547 are girls while out of 3,58,486 JDC examinees, 1,67,770 are boys and 190,716 are girls.The examinations are holding in 2,627 centers with some 1,967,447 students from schools and 358,486 from madrasas. The number of institutions are 28,632. About 585 students sit for the examinations at eight centres abroad. A total of 20,90,692 examinees took part in the examinations last year Education Minister Nahid said that the examinations started in a peaceful environment. He said that no question paper leaked this. He also warned that stern action would be taken if anyone tried to leak the question papers. “There is no chance of question paper leak. We have increased surveillance in the BG Press so that no employee can come out from it with any question paper,” he added.
