On an average 23 percent admission seekers have passed in intake test of Barisal University (BU) and classed will start from January 15.
Prof. Dr. S M Imamul Huq, Vice Chancellor of BU, holding a press conference at the conference room of BU at 2:30 PM on Monday, declared the result through online.
According to the published result 13.6 percent admission seekers of ‘Ka’ unit, 25.5 percent of ‘Kha’ and 29.9 percent of ‘Ga’ unit passed in the intake test held on Friday and Saturday last.
Details of the result available at the website of BU as http:// admission. eis. Bu.ac.bd and date for completing admission formalities fixed as December 13 to 20, 2016.
Classes of the newly admitted students would be started from January 15, 2017, the VC of BU told.
He said Dola Saha obtained highest 166.10 marks in ‘ka’, Kawsar Hossain obtained 165.5 marks in ‘Kha’ and Khalid Saifullah obtained 160.5 in ‘Ga’ unit of the test and all of them passed HSC fro Barisal Education Board.
Dhaka University helped BU in preparing the result.
Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, VC of DU also attended the intake result publishing ceremony through video conference.
Teachers, officials of BU, journalists of print and electronic media attended the press conference of result publishing ceremony of BU.
