Bagerhat Correspondent :23 out 24 vote centers of 2 Pourashavas in Bagerhat district were identified as vulnerable. It was learnt from a source of the Special Branch (SB) of Bagerhat district police. It is also learnt from the source that there are 15 vote centers in Bagerhat pourashava. But 14 of them were declared as vulnerable for holding vote on December 30, Onlyone vote center is normal. Besides this, all the 9 vote centers of Morrelganj Pourashava in the district were identified as vulnerable. In this connection Gautam Kumar Biswas, Additional Police Super of Bagerhat told the newsmen, all the vote centers of the district will be brought under tight security on the day of casting votes, though 23 vote centers out of 24 were identified as vulnerable. On the day 28 members of law enforcing agencies will be deployed to each vote center. He added, members of law enforcing agencies in white dress will keep eye on each vote center on the day in order to maintain the security of the vote center. In addition to that a number of mobile courts and striking forces headed by Executive Magistrate will remain in the field on the day of casting votes. Moreover, the movements of vehicles will be controlled on the day.Md. Ruhul Amin Molla, Election Officer of Bagerhat told the newsmen, the Election Commission already completed all the necessary steps to hold a free, fair and smooth election on December 30. On the other hand, the election campaign in 2 Pourashavas of Bagehat district is going on in full swing. The candidates are going from door to door shaking hands blessing from all every day till mid night defying the biting of cold. The workers of the candidates are going to markets, shops and houses with hand posters demanding votes for Mayors, councilors and women councilors for reserved seats.
