Border Guard Bangladesh men arrested a total of 23 Bangladeshis – 13 women and 10 men while they were returning from India illegally, Subedar Abdul Hamid, BGB camp in-charge, Benapole said.
The BGB official told that tipped off the BGB personnel detained the Bangladeshis from near Benapole check post area early on Wednesday.
The arrested went to India several times in search of better jobs, the BGB official added.
They were handed over to the police, said BGB.
