The inaugural session of a three-day 22nd International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) 2019 hosted by Southeast University (SEU) was held on Wednesday at SEU permanent campus, Tejgaon in the capital.
Prof Dr Mohammad A Karim, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, USA chaired the session while Information State Minister Dr Md. Murad Hassan, MP was the chief guest. Prof Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Member of UGC, Prof Dr Muhammad H Rashid, Florida Polytechnic University, USA and Prof Dr Celia Shahnaz, Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section were the special guests. Prof Dr AFM Mafizul Islam, Vice Chancellor of SEU delivered the welcome speech. Prof Dr Mohammad S Alam of Texas A&M University, Kingsville also addressed in the program.
Thirteen prominent researchers from USA and Japan attended the conference as speakers. Prof Dr Engr Muhibul Haque Bhuyan, Chairman of EEE Department of SEU delivered the vote of thanks at the end.
Among others, Adviser of BoT, Registrar, Deans, Chairmen, Directors, faculty members and officials of SEU attended the program.
