Two hundred and twenty eight more people have been affected by jaundice in Halishahar area in the Port City.
Civil Surgeon of Chattogram Dr Azizur Rahman Sidique disclosed the matter to the local journalists Friday.
He said that a team of Civil Surgeon office conducted a drive in the area and found some 228 more people have been affected by jaundice.
With the 228, the total number of affected jaundice people has increased to 624.
