UNB, Chittagong :A case has been filed against 22 people in connection with the killing of Mehedi Hasan Badal, a leader Chittagong city unit Jubo League, youth front of the ruling Awami League.Mobashira Mishu, wife of Badal, filed the case with Bayezid Police Station at around 10:30 pm on Thursday, said Nurul Akter, officer-in-charge (investigation) of the police station.Saddam Hossain has been made the prime accused in the case while the name of Shafiqul Islam Shafique, a Dubai expatriate, was included in the case as a mastermind behind the killing.Earlier, Mehedi Hasan Badal,40, a local leader of Jubo League, was gunned down by miscreants in front of his residence at Shershah Colony in Panchlaish under Bayezid Police Station of Chittagong city around 10pm on Tuesday.
