22 Rohingyas pushed back to Myanmar

The members of 42 Battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 22 Rohingyas from border point area of Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district Wednesday and pushed back them at evening.
BGB source said that a mobile team, Teknaf sadar BOP conducted a drive in Naytongpara border area and arrested 22 Rohingyas with boat on Wednesday along with children, male and female.
BGB commander in 42 Battalion of Teknaf Lt Col Abuzar Al Jahid acknowledge this information and said that arrested rohingyas also pushed back at evening on those day with humanitarian aid.
Rohingya held with arms : Teknaf thana police arrested one Rohingya with country- made arms and sharp knife from hilly area near Noyapara refugee camp of Nilla union of Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Monday night.
Police source said, acting on a tip-off one group of armed robbers arranging for robbery in those area and a mobile team of Teknaf thana led by SI Limon Bhos, drive and arrested one rohingya from there.
The arrested Rohingya was identified as Nurul Amin, 26, son of Abdul Kader, resident of H-block of Nilla Mochonee refugee camp of Teknaf.
Mohammed Farhad, OC of Teknaf PS, confirmed the fact and told the journalists that, there was a gang of robber feeling the police presence , they run away in hilly area. Police caught Amin and seized one country made LG and sharp knife. A case was filed against him in this connection.
