The COVID unit of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital has registered 22 more deaths in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning. Among the deaths, 10 tested positive for Covid-19 and the rest displayed symptoms consistent with the disease.
Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the Covid unit, confirmed the news.
He said 553 people are now undergoing treatment at MMCH’s Corona unit against 230 seats. Of these, 22 are in ICU. A total of 100 people have been admitted in the last 24 hours while 83 patients have returned home after recovering.
