Public Service Commission (PSC) published the final result of 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination on Wednesday.
The PSC recommended a total of 2158 candidates for recruitment in different cadres.
The result is available in PSC website www.bpsc.gov.bd and teletalk mobile.
The results of the 16 candidates were kept withheld for incomplete documents, PSC sources said.
A total of 6,088 candidates passed in written
examination in the 35th BCS. The viva voce ended on April 12 this year.
The written tests were held from September 1 to October 10 last year.
A total of 20,391 applicants who were qualified from preliminary test attended for the written tests.
A total of 2.44 lakh candidates took part in the preliminary test held on March 6 last year, which was the highest in the civil service recruitment test history.
This year the candidates took BCS preliminary examination of 200 marks instead of 100 while the duration was two hours instead of one hour.
