210 bottles phensidyl recovered in Kurigram

Detective branch (DB) of police recovered 210 bottles of phensidyl from a Dhaka bound day coach at Trimohani Bazar area of Kurigram town at 12:30 pm yesterday. Assistant Superintendent of Police Circle (ASP) Sadar Masud Alam told that a team of ten DB police recovered 210 bottles of phensidyl from a potato bag in a locker of Dhaka bound coach ‘Karnophuli Chair Coach’ coming from Ulipur upazila.
The coach supervisor Altaf Hossen, 45, and helper Titu, 35, managed to escape from the coach after tracing presence of DB police. Later the driver with coach and one helper were released for going to Dhaka. A case was filed with Kurigram Sadar police station against supervisor Altaf Hossain, 45, and helper Titu, 35 said DB Inspector Afjalul Islam. Police Super(SP)Dr. Mohammad Tobarak Ullah said we are trying to arrest main phensidyl traders and have kept continuation of our special drive on drug.
