Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members detained 21 people while taking drugs in Kalai and Panchbibi upazilas of Joypurhat district on Tuesday.
RAB-5 Joypurhat company commander additional superintendent of police Mohaimenur Rashid said a team of the elite force detained 21 drug addicts red handed during drives in different under the upazilas from Saturday afternoon to 10:00 pm.
The detainees were handed over to the respective police station after filing of drug cases.
