Bangladesh will host the 2018 edition of South Asian football championship. This was decided in an executive committee meeting, presided by BFF president and South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Kazi Salahuddin on Sunday in Kathmandu.
The congress meeting also decided to hold elections to a new executive body in Dhaka.
The meeting agreed on a SAFF Championship 2018 schedule for September 4-15, 2018.
The draw of the 2018 SAFF Championship will be held on March 3, 2018 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The congress election will be held the following day on March 4.
The congress agreed a number of SAFF events for 2018 including U15 Women’s Championship, U18 Women’s Championship, Senior Women’s Championship, U-15 Championship and Championship. The congress meeting also decided on an audit of SAFF.
