Mentioning that building start-up ecosystem is crucial for country’s economic growth, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said 200 million dollars have come to the country as investment for start-up money in the last four years.
“Two hundred million dollar has come to the country as investment for start-up in the last four years,” he told the inaugural session of Venture Capital Fund at a city hotel on Tuesday.
Financial assistance is very much needed to form start-up ecosystem for all the entrepreneurs in the country, he said.
Aiming to flourish the start-up system in the country, he said the government has extended its assistance to new entrepreneurs providing funding facilities.
