In sixth national council of BNP, 2000 delegates and 50 councilors from Chittagong city unit will join the council session in Dhaka today(Saturday) .
This was disclosed by the General Secretary of city unit Dr. Shahdat Hossain at a preparatory meeting held in city unit office premises on Wednesday. General secretary in his deliberations said despite any sorts of conspiracy by theruling party, the national council session will be held on scheduled date.
He said under the leadership of Begum Zia, mass movement will be declared in the council session.
The meeting was presided by city Vice President Abu Sufian . Among others, BNP leaders AM Nazimuddin, Mohammad Ali, SM Saiful Islam, Yasin chowdhury, Jahangir Alam Dulal, Anowar Hossain, Haji Tayub, Kamrul Islam,Gazi Sirajullah, Dr. Jahed, MA Matin, Jasimuddin, Towhidus Salam spoke on the occasion, a sources said.
