BSS, Chittagong :
District police arrested 20 activists of Jamaat-Shibir on charges of acts of sabotage from different areas under Satkania and Lohagara upazilas of the district on Sunday night.
A joint team of Satkania and Lohagara police in an overnight drive arrested them from different areas of the two upazilas. Additional Police Super (ASP) of Chittagong, Satkania Circle, AKM Emran Bhuiyan said the Jamaat-Shibir men were arrested on charges of their involvement with acts of sabotage before and after the January 5 national election and after declaration of the verdict against Jamaat leader Delowar Hossain Saidee in War Crimes case.
The arrested would be present before the court, ASP Emran added.
