Twenty indian trained dogs have been brought for Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through Benapole check post on Friday night.
The dogs were brought to Benapole BGB camp from Petrapole BSF camp.
Jessore 49 BGB Battalion Commanding officer Lt. Colonel. Selim Reza said , 52-members of Border Guard Bangladesh team goes to BSF training center in Madhya Pradesh for training.
BGB’s Naik Subedar Mahbubul Alam was led by the delegation. At the end of the four month training, the delegation came back to Bangladesh with the 20 training Indian dogs (Dog Squad) as a gift from the BSF.
The dogs will be first kept in Jessore 49 BGB Battalion. Later, they will be taken to BGB Headquarters in Peelkhana, Dhak.
