At least 20 people, including three cops, were injured on Tuesday night as some Rohingyas of Tazima Rohingya camp in Ukhia upaizla allegedly attacked local residents over taking drug.
Witnesses said when some Rohingyas were taking Yaba beside their camp at night local people obstructed them as it was the night of holy Shab-e-Barat, leading to a clash between them.
When police rushed to spot the Rohingyas attacked them.
Later police brought the situation under control and deployed additional force to fend-off further trouble, said Cox’s Bazar Additional Police Superintendent Afruzul Haque Tutul.
