The Saudi government has issued show-cause notices to 20 more Hajj agencies of Bangladesh for alleged pilgrimage-related irregularities.
The Saudi Hajj authorities have asked these agencies to present their views or submit evidence, if any, of their innocence by January 20, 2016. The information has been divulged by the Religious Affairs Ministry.
Earlier on November 8, Saudi authorities had
issued similar notices to 16 other agencies. The Monitoring Committee of Saudi Arabia’s Hajj Ministry has accused these 20 agencies of housing pilgrims in other than the pre-arranged facility, cramming them in one room and not paying hotel bills, among other things.
NRB Air International, Medina Monowara Air Services, Marwa International Travels, Golden Holidays International, Dream Travels and Tours Overseas, Khan Tours and Travels, Mims Travels and Tours Limited, Alvi Travels and Tours, Al Arafa Overseas and Nir Travels were show-caused.
