20 DU students get SM Hall Scholarship

Some 20 students of Salimullah Muslim Hall of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded “SM Hall Scholarship” for their outstanding academic performances.
Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique distributed scholarships among the students as the chief guest at a function held on Monday at the VC’s lounge of the university.
Salimullah Muslim Hall Provost Prof Golam Mohammad Bhuiyan presided over the function.
Prof Arefin Siddique urged the students to equip themselves with moral values to make Bangladesh a peaceful country.
“We want to produce morally developed graduates along with their academic excellence at the university,” he added.

Atiqul Islam (Information Science & Library Management), Aminul Islam (Institute of Social Welfare and Research), Sujan Ahmed (I E R), Md. Riaz Uddin (Institute of Social Welfare and Research), Mahfuzur Rahman (Urdu), Mustain Billah Ruman (Islamic Studies), Md. Ishtiaq Ahmed (Philosophy), Md. Naimur Rahman (I E R), Md. Abdur Rahim (Islamic History & Culture), Md. Ariful Islam (International Business), Md. Sohel Rana (Institute of Social Welfare and Research), Md. Abdullah Al Faisal (Management Studies), Md. Moniruzzaman (Persian Language), Md Habibur Rahman (Urdu), Md. Muttaleb Hossain (Law), Md. Tauhidur Rahman (Psychology) and Anwar Hossain (Philosophy).
