In the last 24 hours, 20 more people have died in the corona unit of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Of these, 7 died of corona and 13 died of corona symptoms. The deceased have been identified as Hawa Begum (60) and Nurul Haque (85) of Mymensingh Phulpur Upazila, Helena (75) of Bhaluka Upazila, Mostafa Kamal (45), Baishishta (60) and Akkach (70) of Sherpur Nalitabari Upazila and Anwar Hossain of Netrokona Sadar (75). Also among those who died of suspicious symptoms were Shamsul Huda (78), Amroz Ali (75) and Sonia (32) of Netrokona Sadar.Ramela (55) of Kendua Upazila, Khodeja (65) of Mohanganj Upazila, Nurul Islam (80) of Sherpur Sadar, Gendaful (35) and Sweety (26), Shahdat (67) of Mymensingh Sadar, Shamsun Nahar (65) and Jamil Hossain (45) of Jamalpur Sadar, Jamila (60) of Islampur Upazila and Rahima Khatun (70) of Tangail Sadar.
Confirming this information, the focal person of the Corona unit said. Mohiuddin Khan Moon said 411 people have been admitted to the Corona Dedicated Unit with 38 new ones so far and 22 are undergoing treatment in the ICU.Meanwhile – Civil Surgeon Dr. Nazrul Islam said in the last 24 hours, 752 samples were tested in the district and corona was identified in the bodies of 198 more people. The detection rate is 26.32 percent. A total of 11,495 people were affected in the district. 8 thousand 313 people have recovered.
