UNB, Khulna :
Twenty teachers of Government B. L. College were injured in a road accident on Rupsha Bridge here early Friday.
Jahidul Islam, principal of the college, said a bus of Falguni Paribahan, carrying the teachers, overturned on the Rupsha Bridge around 12:00 am as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving 20 teachers injured.
The accident took place when a group of teachers of the college was going to Dhaka to join a rally of BCS (General) Teachers’ Association scheduled to be held on Friday, he added.
The injured were taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital and nearby clinics.
