Staff Reporter :At least two youths were hacked to death in the city’s Jatrabari and Narayanganj district, and two bodies were recovered from the city’s different areas on Wednesday, police source said.In Narayanganj, a youth was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at the town’s Shahi Moholla in the morning, said Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Police Outpost In-Charge Mozammel Haque. The victim was identified as Billal Hossain, 25, a motor mechanic.”The victim was hacked to death by some unidentified miscreants in the area around 5:00am. Locals recovered him and rushed him to DMCH where the on-duty doctors declared him dead,” he said. The body was handed over to the family members of the victim after post mortem. In capital, a shopkeeper was hacked to death by some unidentified killers on the Dholpur Road in Jatrabari in the morning. The victim was identified as Azizul Haque, employee of Sikder Furniture in the area, said Zakir Hossain, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Jatrabari Police Station.Police recovered the body following information and sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital morgue for post mortem. Meanwhile, a body of a youth was recovered from a residential hotel in Jagannathpur area under Bhatara Police Station. The victim was identified as Kawsar, 35, hailing from Chuadanga district, said Mozammel Haque, SI of the police station. He said that police recovered the body from room No 606, Hotel Heaven Touch, at around 58:00am. The body was sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy.At Gabtali, another body of a youth was recovered from the Baghabari Mashjid Market under Darus Salam Police Station. The victim was identified as Nurul Hossen, an assistant of the office of the Shop Owners’ Association in the market, said Md Faruque Alam, Officer-In-Charge (Investigation) of Darus Salam Police station. He said that police recovered the body from a room on the second floor of the market in the afternoon. The body was sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy.
