Staff Reporter :Two youths were stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in Jurain and Ashulia areas of Dhaka district on Monday night.One deceased has been identified as M Saidur Rahman Tutul, 35, son of late Emdadul Hoque, while the identity of the another victim could beascertained by the police.Locals said, “A group of assailants snatched the mobile phone of Tutul’s elder brother on Monday morning. Tutul locked into an altercation with the miscreants in connection with the issue in the afternoon. At one stage, the hoodlums hacked him with sharp weapons at around 3:30 pm, leaving him injured.”He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at around 5:30 pm where he succumbed to his injuries around 10 pm, said DMCH Police Camp in-charge Sub-Inspector Bachchu Miah. Meanwhile, an unknown young man, was stabbed to death by the miscreants inside a bamboo-bush in Gorat area of Ashulia on Monday night, said Mohsinul Quader, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ashulia Police Station.Police recovered the body following information from the bush on Tuesday morning, the police official said.
