Police arrested two young men in connection with a rape of a housewife in Masterpara area of the district town on Saturday.
The arrestees were identified as Akash Rajbhor, 19, and Jibon Rajbhor 18.
Police said a housewife of the area was allegedly raped by three young men, including Akash and Jibon, on Friday night while she was returning to her residence from her relative’s house.
The victim lodged a complaint with Sadar Police Station on Saturday morning
