Chittagong Metro police in a raid on Friday evening rounded up to women from Enayet Bazar area under Kotwali thana in city for their suspected movement. After searching their luggage, police recovered 7 kgs hem(ganza) from their possession.
The women drug peddlers indentified as Rina Akter and Laili Begum. Kotwali thana sources said acting on secret tip off, police conducted raid in the area and managed to apprehend them . Kotwali thana Officer Incharge Md. Mohsin told that a case under narcotics act has been lodged with the thana yesterday.
