Two victims who suffered burn injuries during a “gas cylinder” explosion in Narayanganj’s Fatullah on Saturday have succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased are Fatema Akhter, 35, and her five-year old son Safwan, 5. They were among four people who suffered burns in the blast. Dr Partha Shankar Paul, a resident surgeon of the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Fatema’s another son Rafi, 11, and daughter Faria Akhter, 9, are undergoing treatment at the hospital with burn injuries, he added.
