Two separate US delegations are likely to visit Bangladesh this month to discuss a number of issues with government officials. The first team is expected to arrive here on January 5 while the second one from the Bureau of Counterterrorism on January 8, said a diplomatic source.
The Bureau of Counterterrorism leads the Department of State in the whole-of-government effort to counter terrorism abroad and secure the United States against foreign terrorist threats.
Issues like democracy, security, workers right are also likely to come up for discussion during the visit.
