2 tragic deaths in Morrelganj

Two persons met tragic death in 2 separate accidents and places of Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday, according delayed reports received here.
Rahat Shaikh (09), son of one Tainus Shaikh of village Hoglapasha and a student of Class-III of Purbo Hoglapasha Government Pry School electrocuted on the day in the morning (at 11 am) when he climbed a road side tree to pluck Amra, one kind of rainy seasonal fruits on his way to the school. But live electricity wire passes by the side of the tree and, some how, it (wire) caught him and he was hanging with it. Consequently, he was electrocuted. On information a fire service unit of the adjacent Pirojpur district town rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body. Later, it was taken to Pirojpur Sadar Hospital. It was confirmed by Md. Mansur Hossain, Headmaster of the Pry school.
 Another report states that one Shahjahan Mollik (40), son of one Nurul Islam Mallik of village Madhya Barisal within Khwlia Union climbed a tree of his neighbour to cut its branches; but, somehow, his legs slipped and he fell on the ground from the tree. As a result, he was fatally injured.
He was rushed to a nearby physician who declared him dead. It was confirmed by Master Syeedur Rahman, Chairman of Khaulia Union Parishad.
