Under the joint auspices of reputed NGOs- PKSF and IDF , two tons of matured fish of different species were released at Halda river under Raozan, Chittagong on Thursday . With a view to increase the numbers of mother fishes in the only natural fish breeding centre of Halda , these NGOs taken this pragmatic measures of releasing the matured curb fishes of different species .
These fishes were procured from different fish hatcheries of the country. Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowodhury MP released these fishes on Thursday morning as Chief Guest.
Former Principal Secretary of GOB and Executive Director of PKSP Md. Abdul Karim presided over the fish releasing programme.
Among others, Chairman of Raozan Upazila and the Hathazari Upazila Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury and Mahbubul Alam respectively,
PKSP Director Fazlul Kader, UNO of Raozan Shamim Hossain Reza, UNO Hathazari Akhtaruness Shiuli spoke on the occasion.
