Two people sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out at a multi-storey house in the city’s Banani area on Sunday.
The injured Sagar, 25, and Himel, 19, have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Foysalur Rahman, senior station officer of Tejgaon Fire Service and Civil Defense Station.
The fire broke out around 8:30 am at the 2nd floor flat of the building
where accessories used to supply cable connection were kept, leaving the duo injured, he said.
Sagar sustained 65 percent burn injuries while Himel received 15 percent, he added.
