UNB, Chittagong :
Police arrested two students of an Islamic university in possession of six crude bombs and some bomb making materials at Madambibi in Sitakunda upazila early Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Joynal Abedin,23, and Waliullah, 24, both students of International Islamic University of Chittagong.
They hail from Sonagazi in Noakhali district.
Nazrul Islam, sub-inspector of Sitakunda Police Station, said acting on secret information, a team of police conducted a raid at a mass and arrested the duo early this (Friday) morning.
Six crude bombs, some gunpowder, bomb making materials, two sharp weapons and several money receipt books were recovered from their possession.
A case was filed against them under the Explosives Act.
