Police recovered the bodies of two sisters from a pond at Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar early Wednesday.
They are identified as Arija Begum, 19, and Sakhina Begum, 18, daughters of Akbar Ali of Adampur union in the upazila Locals said, they worked as housemaids at one Joynal Miah’s house at Bhabanipur village from where they went missing Tuesday afternoon.
Later, family members of Joynal found the floating bodies of the two sisters in the pond adjacent to the house.
