UNB, Rangamati :
Two siblings were shot dead by some miscreants at Pakujachhari in Baghaichhari upazila here early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Sushanta Chakma, 35 and his brother Trideb Chakma, 40, son of Kamini Mohon Chakma of the area.
The two siblings were members of The Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti (NM Larma group).
Police and locals said a group of unidentified miscreants swooped on their house at about 5 am while they were sleeping.
The miscreants sprayed bullets on the two brothers, leaving them dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies.Officer-in-charge of Baghaichhari Police Station Azizul Haque said the bodies were handed over to the family members of the deceased without post-mortem following their request.
